About Our Candles

It all started when I was a little boy. I can remember not being tall enough to see over the counter and wondering what my dad was doing now? All he would say is “step back this is very hot!”

I was always curious about the process of making a candle, but never asked my dad about it until he was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Then I decided to carry on the family tradition, roll up my sleeves and learn every thing that he had learned. After several weeks of intense training, I felt that I had earned my PHD. in candle making.

That is when The Candle Professor was born!

Now I’m the one telling my kids to “step back this is very hot!”

Over time I have created my own customer base as well as still keeping some of his first customers happy!

These candles are all hand poured, by me personally, using only the purest of paraffin wax and full-bodied fragrance oils.

They come in a variety of stunning colors, and the scent and the color last throughout the lifetime of the candle. The jars we use are very durable, they are thicker than most candle jars found on the market today.

Our wicks have a zinc core that keeps them standing upright in the melt pool, and also allows us to use a much smaller wick (less of a chance for smoke!)
